Q about Perceptol (new to me)

I plan on getting a 1L mix for Perceptol film developer.
I went to the MDC App and noticed that for TMax 400 shoot at 200 or 400 have the same developing time for 1:3 -- 17m @ 20c --

Is that right? I can shoot at 200-400 and keep the developing time the same?

I have told that Perceptol will do a better job in sharpness and grain, than HC110 1:60. I plan on getting a 1L bottle for storage of the stock mix bottle to keep it in. Hope it lasts 2-3 months as I use it down.

I plan on using it at 1:3 though. not stock or 1:1

Two 500mL bottles would be a better option, or a spray of Bloxygen in there after each use will keep it for months.
 
To keep my Perceptol healthy, I pour it into an old winebottle (1L) that I close with a VACUVIN-cork. These corks are made to conserve wine in an already opened bottle. These corks come with a small pump, so you can pump all air from the bottle and leaving your Perceptol, or wine, in a vacuum.

Personally I prefer my Perceptol at 23c, and dilute it 1:2 (one part Perceptol and two parts water). My personal favorite film is the Tmax400. I develop this for 11 minutes in this soup. I never use a lightmeter (only when I use my M5), so I do not know exactly how I expose in terms of ISO or ASA, but my M5 is always on 200 ASA.

With this film/developer combination ISO, DIN or ASA is not important. I almost always get a usable negative.

Yes, I am getting 2 500ml brown glass bottles from B&H

Though the wine bottle with the vacuum cork is something I will look into..

These are cheap enough for one with 2 corks..... Now to drink some wine.... the fun part :D

LOL... all my chems are in a solid oak cabinet in my bedroom.
But, yes, unlabeled bottles get labels....
It will be a month or so before I am ready for the wine bottle storage solution. I'll scrub off the labels first.
