I generally visit RFF using Google Chromium (on Linux) or Firefox, and am really irritated by the pop-up text previews that appear if the cursor lingers on a thread link for more than a tenth of a second or so. The text is not helpful to me and blocks other screen real estate...it's just visual clutter.
On Firefox, I can disable this with an anti-scripting plugin, but this also eliminates other, more useful, scripts from my browsing experience. For the life of me I can't seem to find any menu option on either Firefox, Chromium, or RFF preferences, to turn this feature off.
Any ideas?
