Question about Kodak Medalist I

I've just come into possession of a Medalist I. Unfortunately, I think, the hinged back is for the GG accessory back which also came with the camera, along with two other extensions.

I don't want to use it in this manner, preferring to shoot rollfilm using the rangefinder for focussing. Am I just s**t out of luck unless I can find a normal back with the pressure plate?

Good news! Herr Manfred Schmidt in Chicago had two Medalist backs and now one of them will be on its' way to my house. Yippee! 😀
