Hi,
I've had a talk with a photographer friend yesterday about the total numbers of Nikon F5 bodies that had been produced.
He estimated a total number of about 250,000 units.
But I am a bit sceptical:
Because the highest serial number I've ever seen was 3182901.
The "3" at the beginning is a type number all F5 bodies have. The following number is the continuous production number. So in this case, the highest number I've seen so far it was the 182,901 unit built.
So dear F5 users, do you have a higher serial number?
Or have you ever seen a higher number?
Thanks for your replies and help!
Cheers, Jan

Thank you very much!
So it looks like at least 230,000 F5 bodies were produced.
