Well-known
Hi, I was looking at getting one of these but would like to know if it's possible to shoot RAW faster than the single-shot speed by putting it in continuous mode and just taking one shot at a time. Is the shutter button controllable enough to allow taking a single shot in continuous mode? I know that with some cameras I've tried the shutter has an "indistinct" feel that makes this very difficult.
The reason I ask is that I like to shoot panoramas and I find that it's important to move as quickly as possible from one frame to the next (I do pause to take each shot of course!), especially if the light is rapidly changing or clouds are visible; I stitch in PS later rather than using an in-built panorama mode as it allows a lot more control over the final image.
TIA for any info on this
