Hi for all,

My R-d1 have this problem. When i put the camera in one table or backed into a wall, for example, and see the framelines it have one difference more or less than 10 degress +. If i push the trigger when the camera is in one table with the level on 0 the image appears with straight horizontal lines, but if i take one picture holding with my hands using the frame lines as reference the image appear crooked.

Sorry about my english but i think is not the only one with the problem and i need so much know if someone have one solution for this problem.

I believe the frame lines are generated by thin strips of metal in the viewfinder mechanism that project light in the viewfinder that shows the framelines. It would seem that one of the strips are either bent or misplaced. That should be an easy repair, if you feel up to it go to the RD repository on Stephen's Camera Quest website and take a look at the various repair articles. Otherwise it needs to be sent in for repair.
