Hi,
I bought a used R-D1s a few weeks ago and had to adjust the rangefinder. It was not possible to adjust it without removing the top because much too much loctite had been used.
I discovered that the rangefinder looked different from the illustration posted on the Rich Cutler site.
Could it be that some, not all, R-D1s have a different vertical rangefinder adjustment?

Yes, R-D1S is different. And it sucks.
