Yes I saw that. And did you see the post by D30 Gaijin? His assessment of the value is pretty harsh but I think he may be right. Looks like the seller has someone interested though...

D30 Gaijin is quite right. 100 shots and already $1K depreciation. Still I'm wondering where he got that figure of 3.2k, seeing that in Japan the R-D1 cost hardly 300k Yen. Than again, they go for much much more than that on eBay....
Anyway, the R-D1 is way too expensive, even for niche product. Once it drops below $1k I could be seriously tempted to buy one.

I would think about it too. But the seller doesn't exactly give it a ringing endorsement does he?

I'm sorry... I was expecting something about noise levels and got nothing. Did the seller add a bit on that topic or did he rephrase his "not enough experience" line?
