R2A and 75/2.5

Hello Everyone,

The 75/2.5 is on my list to complete my kit. I have the R2A and was wondering if anyone has heard of or encountered any focussing accuracy issues with the R2* and 75/2.5? Is it necessary to use an R3* with longer lenses like the 75?

The Heliar will work very well on the R2*

No focusing problems with my Bessa R. Having a R3x would make focusing easier and you would see the framed smaller area better. I can't justify a R3x for just that focal lens. Instead, I'm getting a R2x for a second body. More general anyway, as I'm using glasses.

Yes indeed - I have no problems at all focusing my 75/2.5 on my Bessa-R. And I get great results (technically anyway - artistically is another matter). I think it's one of the best lenses I've ever used.
