R4A vs R2A / R3A

Did Cosina apply any constructional or quality changes to the R4A compared to the R2A / R3A (or M) series? Or are they all the same except for their finders?

No indication of any difference except in the view-finders. Others may know more.

I own an R2A, and have looked at the other two, as far as I could tell they seemed the same other than the frame lines and viewfinders.

Any Rxx is very similar to a Nikon FM10, and various other cameras.

Cosina have made this camera for many years any there is a great deal of commonality between models.

A good thing. It keeps the R&D costs minimal.

rover has had a number of Bessas I think. As I recall he thinks quality has improved along the way.
