I'll have to give my R4A and 21mm f/2.8 another go. Inspired by some of these!

Great work Will, especially the low light/nightime shots. The colours you have are wonderful and I think anyone would be hard pressed to get the same on digital.
I have just bought an R4A from someone on thus forum, mainly as I love using the 21mm (mainly a CV 21mm f4 as it's small and sharp, but I also have a pre-ASPH Leica 21mm f2.8 which is very nice). Can I ask you two questions about the night time shots above...
First, am I right that you were using the CV 21mm f4 pancake lens? And second, did you use a tripod (I assume so given the perfect composition and sharpness, low film speed, low light and slow lens)?
Thanks
Nick

It is said the general rule for a sharp image is 1/(focal length). So for a wider lens like this you can go down to 1/15th with a steady hand. I've found this sort of compensates for the CV 21/4's slowness.
It's a great combo, but I put mine up for trade... longer seems to suit me better as of late.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!
Nick,
1) Yep, its the 21mm F4P.
2) Nope, no tripod. All hand held.
