R9 users, is there no exposure lock when using matrix metering

Hey, R9 users, is there no exposure lock when using matrix metering, only on spot and average?

Mind checking on your camera for me?

On mine, only the spot and average metering work with the exposure lock, i.e. locks the exposure when I push to the 2nd pressure point.

R9 manual reports at page 138 that memory lock is used only for center weighted and selected metering because it's thought not to have your main subject in the center of the frame. No AE-LOCK is available for matrix metering.

Actually, that makes sense. Doesn't that mirror how
Nikon did it?🙂 Heh...just checked, even the D40 does that. No sense in locking exposure when the entire scene is measured.
