I'm starting to enjoy taking to the wet streets more and more, anyone else enjoying the change of season in regards to their photography? It's fun to experience the same streets in such a different way and with such different behavior patterns.

And now... back out I go!

Kent

Kent, now's the months of drizzle and fog and wet streets and fields in western Oregon, so I have to like my shooting opportunities up here.

But I was just in the Bay area, and got to shoot in drizzly dark. Here are a few:

GRDIII:

It was a VERY wet walk to Veterans Hall for a jazz concert featuring Dorado Schmitt. I had a good raincoat. This man did not, but had a very caring partner to mop him up.

...And afterwards, walking through City Hall plaza with the pollarded sycamores:

rainy days are my favourite - they were made for reflection-hunting..

I love rainy day photography but you have to be organised to do it well and I seldom am.

The following guy is a brilliant exponent and there are many superb examples of his work here......

Here are a few of my much more modest attempts

I'm like you; you have to do it a lot and be organized. We don't have many rainy days here in CA so all my development is for f16. Nice shots: far from humble.

Excellent images everyone, very cool. Here's my first shot from out and about yesterday, fresh off the scanner :)
