Hi all,
my xpan (with 30mm lens)'s infinity is off (i.e. it doesn't go enough to reach infinity if you know what i mean). Do you all think i should adjust the rangefinder? or do you think I should just ignore it since the depth of field at max aperture (5.6) is already sufficient to cover this slight off in the rangefinder?
if it needs to be adjusted, has anyone done it? is there a DIY guide somewhere?
thanks a lot.

Is it off with other lenses as well, 45mm, 90mm? If not and dof covers even when close up I would leave it alone. If your eye is not fully centred over the finder, especially if you wear glasses, the alingment at infinity can seem off.

Jim,
thanks for your reply and I think you are correct. yes I do wear glasses and when i show the camera to a friend of mine who doesn't wear glasses, he said the exact same comment that you made. It must be the glasses that is affecting my view point looking into the rangefinder! strangly enough I never noticed this before.....
i cannot check on the other lenses because i have only got the 30mm.
