after a some first few faltering steps i have just completed adjusting my rd1s' rangefinder.

it was frustrating having one body that was dead on and another that was slightly off.
it cost me 10 bucks as i had to buy a new set of small screwdrivers - lost my old ones in the move.

with the rf in working order and new covers on the bodies, my kit is as handsome as ... ;)

joe

btw, my thanks to rich cutler for his excellent rd1 site and the info that showed me the way!

Could you give us a run down of what you did?
How difficult was it?
What must one be aware of/careful with?
How long did it take?
Can anyone do it?

Some people say there is a difference between adjusting the RD1 and th RD1s?

thanks, i am sure this info will be useful to many RD1 owners.
