A respected member of Popphoto.com forums replied to a question about new photo terms ( http://www.popphoto.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=32374&pageNo=1&num=20 ), and stated that he thought there were some MF rangefinders with Zoom lenses.
I hadn't heard of that. Has anyone here?

Hmmmm.
Fuji RF645zi has a zoom lens on it, but it's auto-focus, not a "traditional rangefinder," much like the G2 and its zoom.

JD, you probably mean the Fuji GA645 Zi.
It would be funky to have a real zoom lens working on a true rangefinder
Is there one in 35mm-land?

"Real Zoom?" No, but there's the Elmar on the Leica that is selectable for three different focal lengths- that's pretty close for a Coincident Rangefinder.
G2, which certainly focuses by "finding the range" has a true zoom.
