Have you considered alerting eBay that the pics were taken from a previous auction? Looks suspicious to say the least.

Please report this to eBay, as the bidding is up to $710 for a non-existent item. I'd do it, but I don't know what the prior auction was, it was over 30 days ago.
There are some REALLY stupid buyers out there bidding on it, you don't bid on something this rare and valuable from a zero-feedback seller.

That's a scam for shure. The trick is not new. But I'm always astonished how these scammers find out what the really collectable things are.

Yes I alerted ebay.
How they find out? Maybe looking for stuff ending really expensive.
But copying other peoples pictures even with watersigns is just silly. Some aren't just clever enough, say, too griedy, i.e. a 0-series of Leica just "relisted" which was sold at Westlicht in Vienna last autumn for 336,000 EUR!
item is removed today.

I have warned ebay sometimes in the past, but they NEVER showed reaction!!
So some weeks ago there were various Leica M + R lenses and cameras, all articles should be in Austria, but there was no shipment within Austria - strange, isn't? also no possibility to pick them up, no reaction to any mails; all sellers in Linz or Innsbruck (2 cities here); all sellers 24-27 positive feedback; all pictures of the lenses showed 100% the same technique of making the foto from the lens; all sellers since September (I think it was Sept.) member of ebay - in sum these seems strange to me and I told it to ebay, nothing happens

I've closed down plenty of fraudulent auctions. They really don't want fraud.

Damn, I wanted to see those pics! At least let us enjoy these for a few hours before squawking to eBay!
