How is this lens with the RD1? Would love to see some sample shots. I have the M mount later version. Thanks!

It is a great combination. A little bit of vignetting, but I found it acceptable. Here are some samples:

Great, are you from Philippines? Nice shots, I can easily fix that slight vignette in Lightroom though sometimes I do want that vignette. Thanks!

No, I'm not from the Philippines. I was on a dive trip with a good friend who lives in Cebu, and I grabbed the RD1 and the VC 15/4.5 because it was a small kit, with sharp and wide prime. Perfect for travel.

I'm actually from Virginia.

OT -Have you been in Boracay or El Nido in Palawan. Nice diving sites there.

I love diving in the Philippines! I haven't been to Boracy nor El Nido, but I dived the following in the Philippines:

Anilao
Puerto Galera
Mactan Island
Bohol
WWII wrecks in Coron Bay (Northern Palawan)
Moalboal (West Cebu)
