Hello!
I am waiting for a s/h RD1s. I have a Canon 35mm f/1.5. Would anyone be able to give me the address and number of a rangefinder camera repairer in London, UK.
I would like to have both items checked separately and also when working together.
Your help is much appreciated!

Why don't you just put the lens on the camera and see how the pictures turn out?

Hayden,
Before you rush for a service read the Rich Cutlers FAQ on the R-D1. See top thread in R-D1 list or here:http://www.richcutler.co.uk/r-d1/r-d1_01.htm and give the camera a try out. Front or back focus can be a problem with some lenses even if the rangefinder is accurate so if you have a problem try another lens as well if possible.
Servicing in the UK can be problematic, due to the poor support from Epson, but In London Camera City in Great Russel St. Holborn does have some experience of repairs to the R-D1.
