Regardless of camera type, you could still do it by using an external delay controller, like this one.
Thank you for the link, but ouch!!! $500?!?! I kind of think that since Leica is a rangefinder, it should at least make use of its non-block-out finder when using flash. Looks like this feature is not built in and expensive to do it otherwise.

This PDF tends to suggest it IS possible with the SF20 on an M6TTL, but as I don't use flash I can't say for sure.

Hi Mark, thank you for the pdf. I've read it and it wasn't clear if the M6+TTL+SF20 is doing front- or rear-sync. But the note on "frozen subject" seems to suggest that it is actually doing front-sync. Can anyone confirm this?
