Recent M body and lens serial numbers

Hi,

Could anyone pont me in the direction of lists of body and lens serial numbers and manufacturing dates from the recent past, ie within the last ten years?

I don't think there are any. As I'm sure you know there are lists from the early 30's to about 1995, but the information on serial nos. dropped off from Leica around that time. Coincidentally that's around when the internet began to take off.

to guesstimate recent vintage, ask shooters when they bought theirs. For instance, my MP serial #288xxxx mfg is 1993.
