Recomendation - Good printing/framing service in the UK

I've not been printing enough lately - largely due to the disatisfaction of creating an outstanding result on my calibrated dual-30" Apple Cinema displays only then seeing it look average or a completely different colour when printed.

Can anybody recommend somebody in the UK who is reliable, producing high quality results and can do the following...

1. Receive my processed files (TIFF or otherwise) via email.
2. Return prints according to my specification
3. Optionally frame according to my specification

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Well...for 2 out of 3...you could try Peak Imaging - get a calibrated photo from them to cross check with your display - may need to create a custom soft proof config in Photoshop to match - but then you'll be using one of them anyway for printing to an inkjet.

I've had a load of work through them and been very satisfied...but they don't have much in way of framing options...though will print to all sorts of materials including canvas and metallic things...

You can send files on cdrom or upload via their own software package (doesn't work on a Mac though).

I agree with David
Peak imaging in sheffield do some really good stuff.
They dont do framing but their canvas mounted block prints are excellent.(These are stretched onto a wood frame and dont need anything else doing!
The only problem I have with them is that they can take ages!
Their metalic effect print is superb for the right image.

I've seen a couple of cibachromes from this gent: http://www.owenboyd.com/index.html. They were great.

I see he also does digital printing too.
