Recommend me a calendar

With 2014 come and gone, I find myself in need of another calendar to hang on my office wall. My previous calendar was a picture-a-day wristwatch calendar, but for 2015 I am looking for something more photography related. I have searched for something like a "camera a day" calendar but found nothing, and in searching online I have discovered that when they say it is a "photography" calendar, they really mean it just has pictures of things (usually dogs or landscapes).

So? What does the discerning RFF'er have on their wall?
 
Mine is in the post, pictures of my son from last year month to month as he got older. All film and all by me. It's only a photobox one so not expecting amazing quality.
 
I don't have a calendar displayed on a wall. It would take away a place I hang a photo!

What I use is a free pdf calendar that I print. Then three hole punch it and have it in a three ring binder on a shelf by my desk. It works for me. I find it's easy to write what I need to know and it's easy to grab hold of and look what I have going on.
 
I have created a wall calendar in the past as a gift, with one of my photos for each month.

Now, if I were to create a calendar for my own use, it would certainly feature photos that I have taken and it would include more than 12 photos. I am sure that I can find 365 photos to feature on a calendar -- a photo a day. I'm sure you can too. Obviously this would be too thick to hang on a wall, but it would make for a nice desktop calendar.

I personally use Google Calendar with none of the photo goodness. I found that my wall calendars were always 5 months behind the actual date...

Plus The Googles will show me sunrise/sunset and the weather.

This year, I made a monthly calendar of my own (12) pictures. Fun and easy (using an online calendar-making place).

A really kinky idea, if you can sell it here, is to ask RFF members to post print grade (8X10") photos of their own cameras (like the camera&coffee thread).
Where to upload? Someplace that will let them upload 7Mp files for 8X10's for you to print. (Dropbox ???)

Thanks for the ideas! I had thought about printing out a calendar myself, but I know I'll never get around to it :eek:. I use microsoft outlook and my iphone for scheduling, but I keep a monthly calendar on my wall for reference - just so I can quickly look up a date without having to fumble with electronics. It also serves as decoration :D.

iamzip I was the same, I just made a folder on my mac and then went on photobox, plain white classic A4 calendar, loaded the photos, think there were about 15 'favourites'I had saved. Then put them in date order on the calendar and clicked order. I could have messed about with fonts, dates, more photos for ever but just went for it.

I've been making a photo book online for 6 months now, should finish it in a year or two!

I'm in your camp!

But cheap. That's me I guess because I came from pretty much nothing money wise.

I just use white 8.5 x 11 white paper and after printing with my little Brother laser printer I just three hole punch it across the 11" side and put into a three ring binder.

Simple.

Great minds think alike it seems.

I do mine on as a spreadsheet because I didn't have to type the numbers or days but could do it automatically. Now I have seven of them (a page a month) with the first of the month a Monday, Tuesday etc. Each runs to the 31st and the 31st gets deleted as necessary before printing but isn't then saved to keep the 31st in the file. Obviously the month and year have to change each time but that's minor.
