My bad on the post. I was reading about it in a Taiwanese newspaper article but wanted to link to an English article and didn't pay enough attention to the difference (in a rush to get out the door).

It looks like a Leica II (D) Type 2

But the camera below has different round RF covers, and the lens says "50mm" not "5 cm", and the Iris control looks wrong.
And the "F' on the "F = 50mm" is in caps.... not a cursive f as on the Leica II (D)
And the front has 4 exposed screws that on the above camera, are covered by the black covering.
The RF Arm in the camera will tell the truth!

Keith, I was actually thinking the same, I saw a very well done copy in Prague years ago, the condition was too good, the shop was honest, but it was the best fake I had seen.

Hey, I thought this was News, guess the folks who decide what is news and what needs to be buried think otherwise. Much more News that Softies are sold out, though that was important, about a year ago when it happened?

I second this statement big time. I would be a bit nervous to put 100 bucks in this. I much prefer a beaten M something or Nikon F.
