Recently I purchased a Yashica GX and would like to get a CLA. As a relatively rare beast, and with this example a pretty good one, I do not wish to place this camera into the hands of any shipping organization where it could be lost or damged. So this means a CLA in Seattle where I live (and have been for about two years). Previously, when I lived on the East Coast, I had Mark Hama do all of my fixed lens RF work by mail. Anyone with direct and fairly recent experience with camera repair in Seattle?

Well-known
Northwest Camera Repair in Everett has treated me well. Mike has done a shutter rebuild on a Mamiya TLR lens for me, a CLA on a Pentax KX, and a rangefinder repair on a Fuji GS645s. All very reasonable, successful, and fairly quick turnaround.

just curious
I would be biased on this, I work in Cameratechs. However, I have heard Meier is good also, but doesnt have the turn around time we have.
