The shutter on the 65 I just picked up is slow at the lower speeds, probably needs cleaning and retiming. It's a perfectly normal Seiko so in theory cleaning it shouldn't be any different, but it's possible my local repairman will refuse to work on it. Can anybody in the US still work on these things these days? I have this idea that Frank Marshman can, but I can't track down why I believe that or who told it to me.

You might want to flush it after removing the lens elements. That is not too hard a job, it's pretty straightforward.
