where are members sending their CV Bessas for repair. I've done a couple of searches thru the db here and have found no information on either shops or individuals doing repairs on these cameras.

Jan, I'd like to know that too. I think my Bessa R has a light leak. I'll find out this week.

Parts are part of my concern. I really like the R4a so I'm checking with everyone. It's not like asking about Leica, Nikon or Canon RF technicians, these people are known. If I find some good information I'll post it here for you and others

thanks, I looked there but wasn't sure if Stephen was doing repairs because I'm not in the US. I'll check with him! Meantime anyone else who's doing repairs on CV Bessas it would be good to know!

Check with our RFF host, Cameraquest, which is the western-US importer for Cosina Voigtlander products, and offers repair services.

@ maigo, , retinax, Doug, I checked the Cameraquest website prior to posting. There's a pretty clear statement that international repairs are not accepted. I believed it. Having said that I'll make a direct enquiry to Stephen since I purchased the camera through him.
