Replacing Hot Shoe Connectors??

I wanted to swap out the top cover on my Leica CL. But I want to keep the hot shoe on my original CL both because the new top does not come with one and the serial # is engraved on the hot shoe.

I also need all the connectors ... how do you remove the hot shoe connectors?? The main trigger connector is easy enough but I have a few more connectors that appear to be riveted into the top cover. Is there a trick to remove these safely without damaging anything?
