Hi guys,
Is there anyone living or working in San Francisco who might be willing to help me with a lightbox problem?
In Jan, I won an auction for a 14x20 Just Normlicht lightbox from a liquidation sale. I was visiting California from Feb 10 - Mar 3 and had asked for it to be shipped to my hotel in San Francisco. However, the seller really screwed up and only delivered the item last week (more than 1.5 months after payment).
The hotel staff have tried to help me send the item to Singapore via USPS, but the seller really went overboard in their packaging, and the box's total length + girth of 86" now exceeds the allowed dimensions for USPS surface parcel (max 79").
Is there anyone in San Francisco who could help me collect it from the San Remo hotel in Mason Street, repackage it into a smaller box to send to S'pore for me? Of course, I'll pay for all your costs of getting to/from the hotel, packaging materials and stuff, and also for your time in helping me with this.
