Look at this Xenon lens!

Central crop:
Can you spot the second condor in the full frame?
Sharper than my V600 can resolve. Pan F+ in Beutler - it helps with acutance but gives more grain than e.g. D.76.

Nice. I especially like the way the haze is rendered realistically. The low contrast shows the canyon like few dare to show it, yet I have seen that look before.
The 'edge on' condor is visible in the full shot, ... Especially when I knew right where to look!
Oh, is the horizon actually tilted that much, or should you straighten out the picture? This is taken from the south rim, right? The North rim is actually 1000 feet higher.

It would be great if all those little black forms on the cliffs below were more condors ready to take flight, instead of scrub pines.
You can't go wrong with a Retina and Xenon, Julio.

Crikey, it looks like medium format. I spent yesterday browsing Retina photos and this just tipped me over the edge. Going to have to get myself a IIa

Thanks - and the horizon is not tilted, just the photographer
Taken in the Eastern area of South Rim - could be Lipan Point IIRC.

If you come across a IIc grab it! Great handling, good optics, if only 2.8 and best of all, no meter flap to catch on your pocket!

Was at the north rim but haven't made it to the south rim yet, thanks for the encouragement!
