I performed the adjustment on my Electro 35 GS yesterday. Yashica-Guy states that you should first perform the 1 m adjustment, and then the inifinity adjustment. Is it necessary to perform both adjustments, or just the infinity? I ask because the 1 m and infinity are performed using the same eccentric, which means that any adjustment at infinity undoes what you did at 1 m. Is there any benefit to performing the 1m first, or perhaps it should be done last as a fine tuning step? I have not yet checked "real world" performance with a roll of film yet. Just wanted to check here before I ran the film through. Thanks.

OK, when I read Y-G's page, it made it sound like it was done with the same screw. But now, looking through that post "Wealth of Yashica Info", I see where the 1 m adjustment is made. Thanks.Whisper said:BTW. The 1 meter adjustment is not done with the same adjustment screw. The adjustment is made on the RF unit lever.

And, just to check, "infinity" is at least 50 m away, correct?
