RF Book backups.

As AndColor today got moved off the back-up list and in as an active participating member in the RF book project (see separate email to the participating members as well) that makes Digitalox now the first - and only backup for any participating photographer that find that he/she are unable to complete the project.

I would like to continue to have two backups for this project as another member have indicated that he may not be able to complete his participation.

1) Digitalox, please confirm that you are still willing and able to be a backup.

2) First one that respons to this thread indicating that they are willing to be a backup will be added as 'second backup'.


What do you have to do as a backup?

If you are moved off the backup list and in as an active participating photographer I will need the following two pieces from you almost immediately:
a) A photo of your camera(s) in 300 dpi, 6x4 proportions, about 1.5-2 inches on the longest side.
b) Your full name as you want it to appear in the book and the country you're living in.

You will also have to know that you will be able to turn around two scanned, favorite images of yours by 10/1/04.

So..if that didnt scare off everyone...who wants to be next on the backup list?

This also means that we have depleated the 'reserve' of backups (all three).

I would love to hear from anyone who feel that they would be willing to sign up as a backup for the book. You would be the primary backup at this point.

Does someone still have the list of us who would like to participate in book Two?
I couldn't have all the required by tomorrow though.
 
If you still need a backup, count me in. I live in Europe, but can get you the entry in a hurry -- 1/10/04 close of business in the US, if that's ok.
 
I don't have any RF photos that I would consider submitting but will there be an RF Book Part II? If so, I will start shooting with my RF again to try to get some worthy material.

Lars,

it seems a second RFF book is quite likely seeing the respons this first RFF book got and gets.

So you better load up that film and start shooting! :)

Hi Richard, maybe it's a moot point now? But I would like to be a backup. I'm shooting as fast as I can to get something worthy! :p Well at least I do have some new pics to choose from.. Sounds like a worthy project, I'm looking forward to buying a copy.
 
Mike Richards is IN as backup #1
Fraley is IN as backuo #2

To my knowledge there is no official sign-up for a book #2 at this point. I think everyone is just waiting to see how #1 pans out... :)
