Canada, eh.
We're a creative bunch. If you feel like it, please contribute a poem about RF photography, in Haiku form, in this thread.

Haiku is one of the most important modes of Japanese poetry. A traditional Haiku consists of 3 lines: 5 sylables in the first, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third.

Nikon and Leica singing:
"I can take better pictures than you"
"No you can't"
"Yes I can"
"No you can't"
"Yes I can"
"No you can't"
"Yes I caaaaaaaaaaaaaaan"....

Sorry. Haikus. Stick to haikus, not rehashing Broadway songs...

I dont know if in english exist the same metric than in spanish
I know! In English it's a lot more complicated with some "weird" rules (that of course, from a non-English point of view); you have to know how the word is pronounced, not just by how it's written. In Spanish, no hay pierde 😉

Always the Haiku. If it is so tailored to the linguistics of the Japanese language, why not try something more English style? I used to be great at writing poems about random things, until I woke up one day and could write no more.

Here are sites about Haiku :

and here is a bit of non-haiku poetry. Actually, it is not a poem, but merely a list of brands arranged somewhat into rhyming sets of syllables. Took me a couple hours.

I used to enjoy writing those back in my university years. Though simple, it is quite difficult. Haiku, Mama! (Native-Guatemalan dialect). 🙂
