Hello Photographers,
anyone know a camera with 0,8x magnification and projected framelines?
~> like a Leica M 0,85x or Canon 7 but way more compact.

-50mm would be nice
-viewfinder should be clear and bright

I realy love the feel of a Vito B but its viewfinder got no framelines

The only things with finders in that range with projected framelines are (as I recall):

- Leica M3/MP (original)
- Bessa R3 (a little smaller than a Leica but not much)
- Konica IIIA/IIIM (again, a little smaller than a Leica)

"Way more compact" is a pipe dream because to support a viewfinder that is "clear and bright," it needs to have a big front optical element. The projected framelines you want also make the top plate of the camra bigger (becuase the illuminator needs to be the almost the same size as the VF window). And the reason why 0.8x+ finders are not common is that eye relief diminishes with magnification.

If by "projected" framelines you mean reflected, you can add the Canon P to the list. The later Canon VI series cameras also have a 3-magnification viewfinder.

What about something like an Agfa Ambi Silette? Not sure about the viewfinder's magnification though, but I believe those frame lines (35-50-90) are projected, plus parallax correction.

Canon P is *almost* the size of the 7... While a gem of a camera, I often find myself thinking it's too big for a screwmount-only body, and often end up going with either a Barnack for portability or an M with slightly better ergonomics/haptics.
