Hi everyone,
A friend of mine here in Japan makes an astigmatism correction eyepiece for Leicas M that he’s been selling locally for a while now, out of the Leica shop in Ginza. But hasn’t yet attempted to sell abroad. He asked me to check if there was interest for his product among Leica users internationally.
The eyepiece screws in, the same way normal diopters do, but it is slightly bigger and can be rotated to shoot in landscape/portrait. It makes me (decent vision; no diopter needed but have some astigmatism) able to focus my 50mm@f1.2 tack sharp without thinking about it. Was quite revelatory when I first tried it.
His website is: http://opt-ohno.com/aj_type-L.html (Japanese)
Please let me know if this sounds useful, so I can relay it to him.
