The RFF seems so very mature for a 2 year old.

That is right, on July 28, 2003 Jorge finished up his hard work, put the RFF online and registered as the first member. Surely he had no idea of what would come of this venture, but on on July 29 others started to log in. Bill Mattock, Joe, Francisco, Oscar all had joined in the first few days as did I and so many others. Since it takes 2 to forum, I think we can say that July 29 is the day that our community was born.

It has been a great two years. I am sure I have learned more and improved my photography skills more from our conversations here than from any other source I have found.

So, to us, all of us, Cheers and a Very Happy Birthday.

Happy B-Day from me too!!

BTW, what would be really interesting to know: How much money changed hands in those 2 years due to RFF-induced GAS-attacks? Must be millions.. 😉

Wild. It seems hard to imagine that I signed up a year ago. Happy birthday to RFF and a hearty "Thank You!" to everyone who participates here. It's been a heck of a lot of fun.

And today is sysadmins day! So lets all praise Jorge and his Forum 🙂

Happy birthday to RFF from here too!!! and thanks to Jorge and all the forum members!!!

As Rover pointed out this site has been an enlightening place for many of us...

Happy Birthday RFF and thank you all my friends here to allow me to learn so much from you guys! 🙂

WHOA.. I missed this yesterday - happy birthday RFF !!

(I finally feel like I'm sort of getting in on the ground floor of something big) 🙂

Cheers
Dave

My goodness... and I only have 1964 posts here! 😱

OTOH... I have already 1964 posts here! 😱

Heck, it's been a wild, fun ride! 😀

Rover, thanks for the reminder! Otherwise this would have been just another workday...

And, of course, Jorge... Thanks so much! 🙂 🙂

Happy birthday indeed. Thanks to Jorge!!!! Also thanks to Francisco, who was so pleased on finding the RFF forum, he graciously posted on the PP&I forum which got me looking here.

Wow! How time flys. Two years old and growing. I must admit when I started this site it was because of my passion for rangefinders. Little did I know it would have such a following. RFF has spawned RFF group clubs around the planet, passed a camera around the planet, given away a complete RF camera kit, has had a book published, has become the best site for rangefinder cameras on the internet, has spawned countless friendships, has been mentioned in magazines, hosts a free photo gallery with cloth to 13,000 images taken mostly with rangefinders and most important of all has the BEST group of members a forum could ask for. Al of this without any advertising on the part of RFF. This says something about our little toys we all love so much and the people who use them. Thanks all for such a great site.

It's only now I realize the history of RFF. Congratulations Jorge and thank you very much for this great forum!

Regards,

Joseph
