RFF Euromeet 2018 - Bilbao - Apr. 28./29.

The last RFF Euromeet was in Trieste 2016 where a small group (Janko, Vinh, a guest and I) met and we had a lot of fun. This year no Euromeet took place.

Now Janko, Vinh and I put our heads together to discuss the where and when of a 2018 meeting. We agreed on Bilbao as location and the weekend of April 28./29.

We hope that we can motivate some more people to come to walk around, take photos, eat, drink, visit museums, talk about art, talk about gear (mostly rangefinders, SLRs, film).

I've been to the Euromeets 2012, 13, 15, 16 and it has always been a lot of fun even in a very small group.

I am very interested in attending. Timing still fits with my calendar, so let's hope it stays that way...
 
never been but I imagine Bilbao is a very interesting place. i couldn't make the Trieste Euromeeting and will consider this one.

Edit: I just checked the map, it could be our 2018 road trip including the form Mediterranean - to atlantic coast to coast :)
 
Well, I've gone ahead and created some facts for myself to deal with (let's hope my schedule holds):

Hotel and flights are booked, I'll be arriving Saturday afternoon and leaving Monday afternoon.

This is fantastic. Being around the Barcelona area I've wanted to get around Spain more often but don't find the excuse to often.
Still quite an uncertain schedule, but this is good as I can put thought into it.
 
i booked my flight as well, arriving on Thursday and leaving on Monday lunch time. Had a great time last time in Trieste. The Irish pub turned out to be a great hang out place for us. :cool: i plan to bring one camera (as last time). rolleiflex or leica m6. one of those! prob rollei since it will be fairly sunny and my 120 film stack is > 35mm. but i will be slow so you guys dont move too fast.
 
Still desiring to come with my wife but because of a recent accident (shoulder broken) I prefer to wait for a full recovery before taking any decision.

nobody else with desire for few beers, lot of chitchat and some photos around the city? always nice but i miss that crowd from prague, also many locals...
