Hiya everyone,
I had one of these lovely little guys as a teenager and never forgot it. Bought one on ebay recently and it worked brilliantly for 3/4 of a roll - and then the shutter jammed. (The photos that did come out were beautiful, of course). This is what happens: when I press the release button, the shutter opens and then freezes. I only can get it to close again by flicking the camera into reverse mode- obviously not too helpful in real life but it's clearly ABLE to close. What do you think the culprit might be? Any suggestions gratefully received!

Aside from making sure that the battery terminals are clean and make good contact, I've got nothing for you. Maybe keep exercising that shutter will work the kinks out. I hope so, the ff3af is a fine little shooter.
