I just bought a used GR1v and it arrived this weekend. I am liking it much, but, on only the second occasion taking it out the aperture dial disc reader on top of the dial just fell off. I was in the park, re-traced my steps but could not find it.
Of course I can still use the dial, but I wondered if anyone else had this problem and if so whether you know of anyone who makes replacement disc covers I can buy and stick on - otherwise guess I shall have to make one myself.
Cheers

I've never heard about this problem before although I have read a little about those GR cameras. I've never had any film GR myself however only the original digital Ricoh GRD 8mp.
Hope it not cost too much too be repaired.

A bit late on response, but your best bet is to probably rig up something on your own. Outsourcing for a part may be tricky (as I noticed most GR1's are located in Japan), and Ricoh pulled the plug on repairs back in 2014. If you could find a parts camera for cheap, that would be a good solution as well.
