Couldn't find this anywhere. How is the GXR in low light? What sensor does it use? Is it the same 12 mp sensor that they've been using in the 50/2.5 and the 28/2.5? Also is the same sensor as the d300/d90/fuji x100? Or who makes the Ricoh sensor?

Not sure which sensor they use, but, personally, I use ISO up to 1600. I find the grain at ISO 800 quite pleasant. I am happy with the ISO performance considering this is an APSC sensor.

Not sure if the sensor is really the same as the other cameras, but I have used the D300/D300s and the output strikes me as pretty equivalent. With lightroom's handy elimination of chroma noise, what's left, even at 3200, is fine with me. Without the color blotches noise looks like grain to me.
