Sam Vinegar passed away Yesterday Morning,

Some of you may have known Sam or possibly his son Abraham.

Sam was founder and operator of Photorama, a camera swap/show that toured the East Coast and Midwest. Sam was also owner and operator of Classic Camera, a photo shop in the Detroit Area here in Michigan.

Him and His son Abraham would also frequent the Second Sunday Camera show in Dearborn Heights. Those two sure werea bunch of fun, also exceptional salesman and experts in dickering.

Sam sure loved to talk, especially cameras! I loved stopping into the swap meets just to bull**** cameras and history.

Just wanted to share with everyone, this great loss, especially for Michigans classic camera scene. Sam was, and is a legend around these parts, sure will be missed!

Sam was a good man and will be missed. Condolences to Abraham and the rest of the family. The camera show sellers are really a small group and, for the most part, all good friends. Sam will be remembered.

Yes, prayers for the family. Spent many happy hours at Photoramas, and appreciated Sam's work. His store was great too.
Saw Abraham at his house last year when he had a garage sale. Sam was there - feisty as ever.
