Thanks. It was four inches in eight hours, on top of totally saturated ground, so most of it became run-off. Most of the flooding in town was confined to the park areas, which was where the flood relief project completed last year intended it to. One road was washed out in the next county, but it has washed out before. It's a private road, so the owners don't benefit from any engineering from the DOT, and it gets repaired the cheapest way possible, which means it's just going to wash out everytime we have one of these events. Other places in the area were the normal flood prone types. No loss of life, and thank goodness no one drove into the water.
