Hello Out There -- I'm looking for the rangefinder accessory that fits scale focus Robots, such as the Robot Star. It adds rangefinder focusing to the camera, and darned if I can't track one down. Does anyone have one they're willing to part with?

Vince, you can make do with any rangefinder: a Robot one might be too difficult to find.

Thanks for responding -- I do have a generic clip on rangefinder that I've used on this Robot. It does get a bit cumbersome (first I focus using the rangefinder, now what's the distance? 12 feet? Okay, now set the lens to 12 feet. Now shoot. Now unclip the rangefinder to rewind the film.) The nice thing about the Robot one is that it turns the scale focus camera into a coupled rangefinder (or so I understand). I've seen photos of them, and I've seen photos of one on the forum here. And darn it, I'd like one!

I hope you find what you're looking for, Vince. Until then, you don't have to attach your present rangefinder to the camera. Can be kept in a pocket or worn around the neck.
