Hi
I am an RF shooter. The square format is not for my main work.
I received a rolleiflex T that needed some help, the shutter was stuck.
After failing a DIM (do it myself) cleaning I asked the regular high reputation repair
people how much would be a shutter cleaning. Well, they have not such a thing as a small
intervention on these cameras. Only the full blown 200$ Completely Ultimate Perfectly
Super Mega CLA. Well for a camera that you can pick up for 100$ or so.....
Then I felt on Jeff Siladi's homepage. He propose partial or full CLA for very decent
Prices. I am sure the other pros around here have the edge on some issues like
calibration or so but for a nice camera to work fine and smooth, it's a no-brainer. I just got the camera and its really ok. Perfectly working and smooth. Jeff also did much more than what was agreed on, replaced a dead meter window and a few screws. He is a great guy and was very helpful.
Soooo....: If you are like me unwilling to spend 200$ for a CLA, I highly recomend Jeff. You can find his site on the web.
