I have an FW and would like to get a plus diopter for the magnifier. Anyone know where I can get one?
Thanks

Hello Whitecat
I would check with the usual suspects. Krimar, Harry Fleanor, etc...
Seems like something that may be in a repair mans tray somewhere. Either one that was removed during a CLA or the like...

Pls let us know how you come out -- and the price :)
Finding one is hard enough. Finding the right correction is mission impossible.

I went the route of the baier adapter with blad finder (NC-2), which is already setup for +1 correction.
This translates to a -3 power for me.
The blad diopter cost me more than the finder.

Years ago I remember reading a thread where someone needed a diopter for their SLR. None were available, so they went down to the 99 cent store and bought a couple of pairs of reading glasses that were the right type. He then cut them down and popped one into the viewfinder. Worked perfectly. Bring your camera, and you could try one out for fun in the store to see if it might work. I can't imagine that it wouldn't. Should be easy to cut w/ a Dremmel tool, and the $2 cost is hard to beat.

The waist level finder comes standard with a + diopter for folks of normal eyesight. If you need more +, you need a lens that will fit into the mount with the standard + value plus your eyesight correction. Rollei used to sell them , but i don't know about now.
