Rolleiflex TLR lens cap on top of Bay III lenses?

I am wondering if my Bay III double and hinged lens cap will still fit both lenses once i add two Heliopan (or Rollei) Bay III UV filters to the front of both lenses. (Bay III that is, Rolleiflex 2.8f, I cannot see how to repair the misprinted header, sorry. [Done under "advanced".])

I am afraid to get the lens fronts themselves wet when I walk out into the surf ... So i need protection ...

Yes, my cap works with my Bay II filters top and bottom on my Rolleiflex F/3.5

Well, I did not mean to fit just both the viewing and taking lens "naked by themselves", they obviously do. But does the twin cap pair still fit these two lenses when they are each covered by one bay III filter: In other words, do the twin lens caps still cover the "extended by a filter pair" lenses?

Yes , in my case at least with the Bay II lensed camera.

I'd be more concerned with salt water getting into the shutter and focusing controls than a few drops on the lens surfaces. It's easy enough to wipe them off with a damp piece of lens tissue.

I'm not sure about the Rollei filters but I cannot use B+W filters on both the taking and viewing lenses at the same time on my 2.8 GX. There isn't enough room.
