I bought a Nikon DK-19 Rubber Eyecup from eBay (Chinese seller), and received it today. Unfortunately it has too large diameter for the eye piece of the camera: cannot attach it to the eye piece, it is loose and drops out.
There are 3 possibilities:
1. Nikon DK-19 type eyecups are not proper for this camera
2. Seller has sent me a wrong type eyecup
3. The measures of Chinese products are not very accurate
Anybody used these Nikon DK-19 type eyecups in FUJICA GW-690?

The correct eyecup is the one that goes to the Nikon FA/FE/FM/F2 series or the F3 non high-eyepoint. You need an eyecup for a 19mm eyepiece; the DK-19 is for 22mm.

The F2 eyecup would do as well. Nikon only had two round dioptre sizes (in addition to a variety of square ones on the F and several consumer cameras), 19 and 22mm - the latter on all pro film cameras starting with the F3HP.

Thank you guys for your help and info. I didn't know there are both 19mm and 22mm cups.
I put a new order to an UK based shop:
Genuine Nikon DK-3 Rubber Eyecup
Compatibility: FA, FE, FE2, FM, FM2, FM2n/New FM2, FM3A, EL2
Hope this will be a fit

The new one (DK-3) wasn't a fit either. Actually it was less a fit than the first one (DK-19).
I took photos and added some measurements of the items:

Pic 1: My camera viewfinder and its eyepiece disassembled
The Users manual writes:
- The eyepiece socket of your camera is provided with a 19mm-diameter, 0,75mm-pitch screw thread. It will take any commercially available eyepiece, rightangle finder, magnifier, etc. (Fuji does not supply these accessories).
- The eyecup is made of rubber and is fitted on over the eyepiece.
I have bought the next two eycups (this far):
1. Nikon DK-19 eyecup

Pic 2: Nikon DK-19 eyecup (Chinese copy)
This is almost a fit. For a DIY oriented person this would be an easy cace.
According to seller: "Comparible With : NIKON D4, D3, D3S, D3X, D700, D800, F6, F5, F4, F3HP"
2. Nikon DK-3 eyecup

Pic 3: Nikon DK-3 eyecup (original)
This one is not at all for my camera: There is a hard piece in the rubber, and it is impossible to be "fitted on over the eyepiece" as the Users manual says.
Seller writes: "Genuine Nikon DK-3 Rubber Eyecup
Compatibility: FA, FE, FE2, FM, FM2, FM2n/New FM2, FM3A, EL2"
If I make a third attempt to buy, does somebody have a good guess about Nikon Rubber Eyecup that will fit?

That is no DK-19, but "Chinese copy". Unfortunately different from the real item - my original DK-19 is similar to the DK-3 you have, just another diameter. It has a metal (in later versions plastics) shim insert which screws between the eye piece and eye piece socket (so it will attach to any 19mm eye piece). What you have got there seems to have to be pulled over the outer edge of some eyepiece, but apparently not yours - Nikon made 19mm eyepieces with at least seven different outer diameters.

I ordered a genuine DK-19 eye cup.
But, could it be possible that the eyepiece of the GW690 has a smaller diameter. I think 1mm more, and the cup would be tight enough.
As seen in my previous pictures, the outer diameter of the GW690 eyepiece is 23mm, and the inner diameter of the Chinese eyecup is 23mm as well.

Well, I positively have DK-19 cups (as identified by the inscription - and both were bought decades before there were any clones) on both my GM 670 and GSW 690 II - it would be rather odd if the intermediate model had a different eye piece size.

I've had the same problem, trying all these different solutions. Please report how the genuine DK-19 works.

I wonder does the eyecup on the camera is really needed in any situation? I tried using a camera with an eyecup once it feels like it's sucking my eyeball out

Didn't work at all !I've had the same problem, trying all these different solutions. Please report how the genuine DK-19 works.
So I haven't found an eyecup for Fujica GW-690
I imagine that a bright environment makes it hard to focus, and an eyecup would help. But not so sure.I wonder does the eyecup on the camera is really needed in any situation?
