I want to get an rubber eypiece for my R-D so I don't scratch my glasses, anyone know if a Nikon DK-17 or even the DK-3 cup will fit?
Cameraquest says get an eyepiece for an F/FM etc but they are quite hard to find now too.

Do you mean a different eye piece to the standard one, which is shared with other Voigtländer cameras? Something more like those used for SLRs?

At the moment I have no eyepiece, I'd happily use a Voigtlander (if its rubber and will stop my glasses getting scratched?) one but can't find them anywhere.
The DK 17 is just a rubber ring type, the DK 3 more of a cup, if one will fit I think the other will so just really want to know if the thread fits then I can decide which I'll go for.

Here in Japan the original Cosina adjustment lenses and also the 0-Lens with rubber ring are avaliable for cheap money.
Maybe try to check on mapcameras website or what I would recommend to contact japancamerahunter (here on RFF or via the website), maybe he can source them.

Robert White in the UK have them and they are knowledgeable.
I bought one for my R-D1 a couple of weeks ago, the standard that came along with the R-D1 was a -1 dioptre.
The replacement one is a Cosina, which is sold both for Voigtlander's (including R-D1) and Zeiss Ikon.

Cheers, I'm presuming that my R-D is missing it's eyepiece, as it is I have an internally threaded circular opening with a rectangular window inside, nothing to screw off.
Maybe I should actually be getting a corrective one as I wear glasses.

the rubber ring on mine was a bit loose and worn out, so i bought a voigtlander eyepiece from photovillage.com as the other replacement options were a bit hard to find.
