Rumor: New NP-W126 compatible battery coming?

There is a rumor about NP-W126 Mark II coming.

If this is true, that would be fantastic. I appreciate Fuji keeping the same battery size across (most of) X series cameras, but X-Pro2 could use a bit more juice.

There were other talks about X-Pro2 being "over-engineered" and that we could expect bunch of Kaizen updates coming in the future including higher EVF fps. If the Kaizen concept even goes to the battery, that's great and it will work particularly well with X-Pro2 which is quite power hungry now and possibly more so in the future.

The probable downside is that it is likely to be more expensive than the already overly expensive Fuji NP-W126.

Yes, since I got my X-T1, regularly carry two of those - no probs so far.
