Rumored M 35 Summicron APO?

Leica Rumors posted an entry about the discovery of this upcoming lens in a firmware update. These discoveries in the past have reliably prefigured a new lens release. It would also explain why the 'digital refresh' of the 35 Summicron ASPH (first released in 1996) amounted to little more than extra aperture blades.

That CV 35/2 APO is as big as the 35/1.4 Zeiss. Since the Zeiss is already excellent, I'd rather have the extra stop if I'm going to carry something as big as that. The 35/2 Ultron II is more appealing.
